Slate Calls
It has taken a long time to finally come up with a Friction/Pot/Slate call that I am happy with and feel will fully serve all of my fellow hunters needs. My first consideration was tone and consistent tone quality. The 2nd requirement was a unique design that was comfortable to hold and did not require any unnecessary motion or movement in order to attain the proper grip. I have finally got a call that meets all my requirements, and I'm sure that you will be happy with each of them.
| 1) The Cherry 14 sided, slate over slate pot call. This call produces the long standing traditional yelp that is associated with a fine slate call that is built over a slate sounding board. It comes with a Mahogany striker for the low pitched hen yelps and purrs that drive Toms crazy. Cost $25.00 |
3) The Cherry 14 sided glass over slate pot call. This call really gets loud and high pitched like an aggressive hen who's ready to breed right now! this call will replicate the sharpest yelps and cutts you've ever heard, and as with every call, if you had a Hickory or Purple Heart striker to the eqation the pitch gets progressively higher.
